BRAC joined with partner groups to write this letter to the World Bank, calling for the Evolution Roadmap to explicitly endorse evidence-based interventions for eradicating extreme poverty to accelerate adoption of proven approaches like Graduation/economic inclusion.

The Ultra-Poor Graduation Initiative (UPGI) is a global program of BRAC founded in 2016 to support the expansion and implementation of the Graduation approach. BRAC UPGI is scaling the Graduation approach through programming and policies, and partnering with national governments, peer organizations, civil society actors, and donors to achieve the long-term benefits demonstrated by Graduation and help millions more lift themselves from extreme poverty.
